The full-depth documents behind the method pages.

These are the canonical documents. The method pages summarize; the papers decide. Start with the working paper for the whole method in one document, or use the reading guide to pick a single topic.

Each deep dive covers one part of the method in full depth: the problem, the mechanism, the numbered rules, a worked example, known failure modes, and metrics. The rules run continuously from R1 to R36 across the series, and one worked example, an order-management system called Orderly, runs through all of them. Inside the papers the deep dives refer to each other by number (Paper 01 to Paper 09); the list below shows which number belongs to which topic. The working paper’s glossary remains canonical for the terms it defines; the site glossary is the complete current register, including terms introduced after the papers. One term also differs by register: the papers say increment where the method pages, tutorials, and kit say slice; the two words mean the same thing.
